What is your best achievement(s) in the sport?
Winning the Ulster Grand Prix on our own bike with a small team stands out as the biggest achievement for me. Doing it the hard way, with people who genuinely believed in what we were building, made it incredibly rewarding.
Who was your biggest influence as you came through the ranks?
My biggest influence has been the people closest to me. The support from family and the people around me kept me going through the tough days and gave me the confidence to keep pushing.
Best friend in racing?
Without a doubt, my partner Jacqui Burns. She’s been there through all the highs and lows, understands the sport inside out, and has always had my back.
Who is your favourite sportsman/woman outside of motorcycling and why?
I’ve always admired athletes who show grit and consistency. Someone like Graeme McDowell stands out because of the pressure he’s handled and the way he’s stayed focused over the years.
What constitutes a successful season in 2026?
For me, a successful 2026 would be building momentum, enjoying my racing, and making sure we’re getting the best out of ourselves every time we line up. If we’re competitive and making progress, that’s what matters.
If you weren’t a racer, what job would you be doing?
I’d definitely still want to be around engines and bikes in some way. Probably working in a workshop or doing something mechanical where I could stay hands-on.
Favourite cheat meal?
A proper kebab — especially after a long race weekend. That’s hard to beat.
Favourite boxset or TV Show to binge?
Anything with a good story and a bit of suspense. I’m a fan of shows you can get properly hooked on and watch back-to-back.
You’re on a 12-hour flight – what three films are you definitely watching?
Gladiator, The Departed, and Rush. A good mix and all easy to watch again.
Best holiday Destination?
Egypt. Sun, Sea and good food
