Best Baselayers For Boorman – Adventure Legend Charley Joins Zerofit
Japanese baselayer brand Zerofit is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with highly acclaimed broadcaster and adventure rider Charley Boorman.
An inspiration to motorcyclists all over the world and a star of the much-loved ‘Long Way’ series, Charley will rely on Zerofit’s extensive collection of baselayers throughout the year having been introduced to the brand by friend Glenn Irwin, the most successful rider in the history of the iconic North West 200.

Zerofit - Chosen By Champions, Built For Every Journey
‘I’ve been riding motorbikes in all conditions and temperatures for 30 years, and I had assumed that when it came to baselayers, they were much of a muchness.
‘And from my experience, that’s been true. I’ve never found a standout product. However, I was at the Ducati factory with Glenn and he told me all about Zerofit, and how the products were just so much better, whether it be for elite level racing, for everyday riding or adventures and touring. I was intrigued, and asked Glenn to introduce me to the team.

Zerofit baselayers have been created to enhance the riding experience for all bikers in all conditions
‘I had a chance to test all the different baselayers, and in no time it was clear that they did exactly what they said on the tin. A completely game-changing range of products for all temperatures and conditions – Zerofit baselayers are just on a different level to anything I’ve ever experienced before,’ added Charley.
The 58-year-old put all the products through a thorough testing, including the Heatrub Ultimate for maximum warmth in the winter months, the Heatrub Move for the changeable conditions of autumn and spring, and also the summer collection that includes the new IceSkin, Ice Weave and Cold Skin.

‘Anyone who has used a Zerofit baselayer can feel how good the product is instantly. But what I also absolutely love about the brand is their complete transparency. They have been prepared to have products independently tested to add significant science and numbers to back up the claims – it gives real confidence to riders about the performance of the baselayers.
‘And as a brand that is fairly new to the industry - having only launched in Europe in 2022 - they have done exceptionally well to break through in the manner they have. And that shows just how good the products are. As motorcyclists, we are always keen to learn about new technology that improves our riding experience, and when it comes to baselayers, Zerofit is the standout choice,’ he added.

Mr Koji Higashi, who founded Zerofit in Japan back in 2005, is confident that having Charley on board will reinforce the steps already taken to establish Zerofit baselayers as the must-have products for bikers all over the world.
‘The new partnership between Zerofit and Charley further represents the growth and popularity of the brand, and with WorldSBK star Scott Redding also recently joining - along with more than 40 riders from the Bennetts BSB paddock - we hope this demonstrates just how effective our product range is,’ said Mr Higashi.

Zerofit – The Baselayer Choice For Bikers
‘We were absolutely delighted when Zerofit Europe MD Michael Morton brought the opportunity with Charley to our attention – he is highly-regarded all over the world, including here in Japan, and we are so very proud that he has chosen to partner with us, he added.
