British Supersport - Gearlink Kawasaki

One of the rising stars of the sport, Cameron Dawson joined Zerofit for the 2025 season when he will be competing once more in the British Supersport class of the BSB.

The 20-year-old won the British Junior Supersport Championship back in 2021, and then stepped up to the National Junior Superstock level, finishing in second spot in the standings the following year.

He claimed his first victory in the Superstock 600 at Oulton Park in September 2023, and finished 17th overall in the British Supersport Championship in 2024.

What is your best achievement(s) in the sport?

Being crowned the 2021 British Junior Supersport Champion. 

Who was your biggest influence as you came through the ranks?

That would have to be Marc Marquez just purely down to his achievements and determination .

Best friend in racing?

Davey Todd, Owen Jenner and Leon Haslam.

Who is your favourite sportsman/woman outside of motorcycling and why?

Stephen Bunting, because he’s one of the best in the darting scene personality wise and has an unbelievable crowd behind him.

What constitutes a successful season in 2025?

This year we aim to fight towards the front and develop the new Kawasaki 636 as best we can.

If you weren’t a motorcycle racer, what job would you be doing?

I would probably be in vehicle detailing full time.

Favourite cheat meal?

Favourite cheat meal has to be jacket potato with beans and cheese.

Favourite boxset or TV Show to binge?

Taskmaster - Worth a binge watch if you want a laugh!

You’re on a 12-hour flight – what three films are you definitely watching?

Shooter and the Money Heist series 

Best holiday destination?

Best one to date had to be my trip to Rhodes last year.
