Zerofit - The Official Baselayer Supplier To The NABB Celebrate #BloodBikeDay

As the official baselayer supplier to the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB), Zerofit is proud to celebrate Blood Bike Day, highlighting the invaluable work of the organisation alongside NHS Trusts, Air Ambulances and Milk Hubs.

Friday, August 11 is #BloodBikeDay and since February, Zerofit has been helping to fund ongoing projects that contribute to the safety and wellbeing of motorcyclists across the UK.

Many of our baselayer products have proven to be hugely beneficial to Blood Bikers this year, including the Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer (£55) Heatrub Ultimate Leggings (£55) Heatrub Ultimate Neckwarmer (£25) and Heatrub Ultimate Socks (£25) which offer top-to-toe heating in temperature as low as minus 10° Celsius.

The Heatrub Move Baselayer (£40) – with its adaptable warmth and moisture wicking properties - is ideal for the autumn and spring.

The Blood Bike membership consists of a committed voluntary workforce of airline pilots, paramedics, plumbers, builders, teachers, vicars and police officers and as part of the agreement, Zerofit provides funds for the NABB’s Hi Viz Jacket Project that allows the voluntary force to ride safely through the day and night.

‘We are delighted to celebrate #BloodBikeDay with the NABB and further highlight the amazing work that they do all over the country,’ said Michael Morton, Managing Director of Zerofit.

‘The work the NABB undertakes is incredible and invaluable at a time when the emergency services need as much help as they can get, and we are proud to be able to support the organisation in any way we can,’ he added.

In addition to the winter products, motorcyclists all over the UK are also discovering our summer range of baselayers, including the new Cold Skin Baselayer (£55) that has been independently tested and proven to be three times colder than a standard competitor product and the Ice Weave Baselayer (£55) which offers bikers game-changing levels of sweat management and cool comfort during the hottest months of the year.

Kirsty Lawrence, Trustee of Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, said: 'Blood Bike volunteers around the country are out in all weathers and mainly at night when the temperature drops. Being able to partner with Zerofit, as our official base layer, will enable our volunteers to have the comfort of being warm during those cold winter nights with a trusted brand. We appreciate the support Zerofit are providing to our Blood Bike volunteers.'
