IceSkin Debut For Mikhalchik In Dominant Back-To-Back Wins

As Ilya Mikhalchik moves closer to clinching the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, the Ukrainian is still looking for even the slightest improvement that can propel him to glory this year.
With more than 80 riders in the Bennetts British Superbike paddock wearing Zerofit baselayers to keep them cool during the summer competition, the 2024 German IDM Superbike Champion has now become the latest athlete to rely on the IceSkin baselayer – and he got off to the perfect start, with two victories at Donington Park.

The 29-year-old was in imperious form as he took the maximum 50 points from the two races over the weekend, giving him a 71-point advantage ahead of the final two rounds of the season.
‘We were delighted to send Ilya the IceSkin product to test ahead of Donington, and it was fantastic to see him line up on the grid with the ZF on display,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit MD.

‘For an athlete to make a change to his or her race setup at this advanced stage of the season, the product must have a considerable performance benefit. Ilya’s decision to rely on the cool contact performance and moisture wicking of the IceSkin highlights the quality of the baselayer, and further validates why so many athletes are switching to Zerofit as a performance choice,’ he added.
In the main BSB Championship, fellow Zerofit athlete Scott Redding (pictured above) was victorious in the first race of the weekend and followed that up with three more podium finishes to complete a highly successful three days in Leicestershire.
Nikki Coates consolidated his position at the top of the Rokit Off BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup with a win in his Heat before he matched that performance with victory in the Main Race.

Josh Corner (another relative newbie to the Zerofit brand) finished second behind Nikki, with fellow Zerofit star Barry Burrell in third. Nikki leads the Standings, seven points clear of Barry with Josh a further 24 adrift.
Asher Durham continued his fine season in the Pirelli National Sportbike Championship, with a second-place finish in the solitary race of the weekend - he's now second in the overall standings.

In the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship, Jack Kennedy finished third in both the Sprint Race and Feature Race, while Luke Stapleford (pictured above) went one place better in the Feature.
While the sport’s best athletes use the IceSkin in the heat of fierce competition, it’s also designed for adventure riding, touring and everyday use, too.
