Beaming Boorman Delights Fans At The Scottish Motorcycle Show

Charley Boorman was the star of the Scottish Motorcycle Show as the Zerofit Ambassador talked all things travel, TV and baselayers at a jam-packed Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

The adventure riding legend, who has become famous for his role in the epic Long Way series, was on the Zerofit Stand throughout the day to meet excited fans, all of whom got to spend 1:1 time with Charley who signed autographs, wrote special messages in books and posed for hundreds of photographs.

As part of our partnership with the Show organisers, headline act Charley took to the Knockhill Stage in the prime 2pm slot for an interview with esteemed MC Duncan Vincent where they talked in depth about his adventures with Long Way on Apple TV and his ambassador role with Zerofit.

Sixteen competition winners also had the opportunity to attend a special ‘Breakfast with Boorman’ event before the doors officially opened, and a further group of lucky prize recipients enjoyed ‘Beers (and IRN-BRU!) with Boorman’ after the show ended.

With snow on the ground and temperatures below freezing, visitors flocked to the Zerofit Stand in search of our famous Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer to deliver a toasty boost of warmth during the Show and for the journey home.

They were also able to touch and feel the other products in the collection, including the Heatrub Move and the summer-ready IceSkin which, despite the weather, sold incredibly well as motorcyclists look ahead to the return of warmer days.

‘It was absolutely tremendous to have Charley at the Scottish Motorcycle Show, he is such a sensational ambassador for the brand with the energy and enthusiasm he brings,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit MD.

‘Every single person who met and interacted with Charley had a champion experience with one of their heroes. Working with the organisers of the Show has been fantastic, and we are already looking forward to returning in 2027,’ he added.

If you couldn’t make the Show, film-maker Luke Watley-Bigg - who worked with Charley on Long Way - created a recap video that showcases everything great from the weekend.

It’s live on YouTube now, so check it out!
