Zerofit – The Official Baselayer Partner of the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes
Zerofit – The World’s Warmest Baselayer® - is delighted to announce a new agreement with the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) to be its official baselayer partner while helping to fund ongoing projects that contribute to the safety and wellbeing of motorcyclists across the UK.
The NABB was officially created in 2008, but the concept of a rapid response motorcycle-based charity stretches back over half a century, providing riders, drivers, despatchers and fundraisers to support the cause, all free of charge.
The Blood Bike membership consists of a committed voluntary workforce of airline pilots, paramedics, plumbers, builders, teachers, vicars and police officers and as part of the agreement, Zerofit will provide funds for the NABB’s Hi Viz Jacket Project that allows the voluntary force to ride safely through the day and night.
The Zerofit Heatrub Ultimate baselayer (£55) Heatrub Ultimate Leggings (£55) Heatrub Ultimate Neckwarmer (£25) and Heatrub Ultimate Socks (£25) are all perfect products for the Blood Bike Volunteers, as is the Heatrub Move Baselayer (£40) when warmer temperatures land later in spring.
‘We are delighted to be partnering with the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes following initial meetings at Motorcycle Live at the NEC back in November,’ said Michael Morton, Managing Director of Zerofit.
‘The work the NABB undertakes is incredible and invaluable at a time when the emergency services need as much help as they can get, and we are proud to be able to support the organisation in any way we can,’ he added.
Kirsty Lawrence, Trustee of Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes, said: 'Blood Bike volunteers around the country are out in all weathers and mainly at night when the temperature drops. Being able to partner with Zerofit, as our official base layer, will enable our volunteers to have the comfort of being warm during those cold winter nights with a trusted brand. We appreciate the support Zerofit are providing to our Blood Bike volunteers.'
