North West 200

Northern Ireland welcomed tens of thousands of road racing fans who made their annual pilgrimage to the North West 200, with Zerofit Ambassadors Richard Cooper (pictured) and Paul Jordan on the top step in their respective races at the weekend, both relying on the performance of the new IceSkin to keep them cool and sweat free in hot conditions.

And while the action was intense on the roads of the country’s stunning north coast, Zerofit and the
Glenn Irwin Merchandise Collection was in high demand in between the races, with the most successful superbike rider in the history of the event coming down to the brand’s pop-up store to sign autographs and pose for selfies with the fans.

‘It’s been an incredible week for Zerofit, one we always look forward to, especially as we are based in Northern Ireland ourselves,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit MD.

‘We had a number of riders relying on our baselayers this week, and it was fantastic to see Richard and Paul on top of the podium. The warm weather was the perfect test for the new IceSkin, and all the guys wearing the product reported good things to our team.

‘We are very grateful to all of the fans who came to see in the retail village and see what we have to offer in terms of performance product and best-in-class merchandise we have created alongside Glenn – the Race T-Shirt was incredibly popular,’

‘Having Glenn attend across the week was a huge boost for the brand, and we very much appreciate him taking the time to come down,’ he added.

Richard Cooper finished the weekend with two victories at the iconic layout, winning the Maxwell Freight Services Supertwin Race and Tides Restaurant Supersport Race 2025. Paul Jordan was triumphant in the John M Patterson Supertwin Race 2025.

While our baselayers are chosen by champions, they are built for every journey, and all types of motorcyclists will have an enhanced riding experience wearing Zerofit,’ said Mr Morton.

‘Now we’re entering summer, we are seeing a lot of IceSkin, Ice Weave and Cold Skin being ordered, three products that keep you cool and dry in the hottest of conditions.

And by having a significant presence at the NW200, our staff could explain to visitors how the baselayers work, and why they were so effective.

‘And it’s very helpful when you have three race wins as a brand on the Saturday!’ he concluded.
