Charley Confirmed For MCL26 Reading Redding Heading For Brands With Title Up For Grabs 3 minutes

Zerofit athlete Scott Redding closed the gap to the BSB Championship leader with 65 points from a possible 75 at Donington Park ahead of the season finale at Brands Hatch later this month.

As the warm conditions continued in the East Midlands, the 33-year-old continued to rely on the cooling powers of the IceSkin Baselayer and Leggings, staying frosty in the heat of battle on the track.

Following a P4 in Race One, Scott returned to Podium with a P2 in the Sprint Race, before going onto the top step in the final race of the weekend, as his title challenger was forced to retire with a mechanical fault.

While hundreds of elite athletes all over the world trust the performance of Zerofit baselayers, everyday riders have also discovered the 365 range of products to make their journeys and adventures more comfortable.

For the coldest rides in the depths of winter, the Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer is five times warmer than a standard baselayer, while the Move Baselayer is designed with Adaptable Warmth Technology for changing temperatures in the spring and autumn.

And for those still enjoying the summer sun, or planning a trip abroad this winter, the IceSkin Baselayer is officially three and a half times colder than competitor baselayers.

‘In previous years, some of our athletes have moved back to the Move Baselayer and Leggings because of the drop in temperature, but this late summer sun means our IceSkin products are still very much in play,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit MD.

‘We are looking forward to seeing Scott hopefully seal the superbikes title, but we also have a number of riders going for glory on the other classes, and we have athletes competing wearing Zerofit baselayers across the paddock,’ he added.

Zerofit man Asher Durham heads to Kent for the final two rounds just eight points off the lead in the Pirelli National Sportbike Standings after a stunning victory in R13 at Donington. Fellow Zerofit racer Richard Cooper recorded a P3.

Jack Kennedy also closed the gap to top spot in the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship with a P2 and P3 from the weekend’s action, leaving him 45 points behind the leader,

The season concludes on October 16-18 at Brands Hatch, with Redding aiming to overturn a 54-point deficit to clinch the Superbike title.
