Harrison Revels In Island Living At The TT

Zerofit athlete Dean Harrison added to his five wins at the Isle of Man TT with two superbike victories including at the weather-affected Milwaukee Senior TT race.

The 37-year-old - who swapped his Yorkshire homeland to live permanently on the island - was one of the standout performers of the event, with other Zerofit athletes including Peter Hickman, Paul Jordan and Jamie Coward also enjoying good results.

With wildly fluctuating temperatures across the fortnight, all Zerofit athletes switched between the adaptable warmth of the Heatrub Move Baselayer and – when the sun shone – the cool contact performance of the IceSkin in the heat of battle on 37.73-mile Mountain Course.

In the RST Superbike TT Race, Harrison held off the challenge of Hickman to clinch the win, with Zerofit racers Jamie Coward (7th) and Paul Jordan (10th) finishing in the top 10.

Harrison and Hickman battled it out in the Monster Energy Supersort TT Race 1, but the pair had to settle for second and third respectively, with Jordan in 4th and Coward in 7th.

In Race 2, Harrison and Hickman repeated the trick for yet more podiums, with Jordan finishing 5th, and Coward in 8th.

In the Carole Nash Sportbike TT Race, Paul Jordan battled his way to a third-place finish, ahead of Hickman and Coward in 4th and 5th, and Michael Sweeney 10th

And after days of inclement weather on the island, it was perhaps no surprise that the final event of the fortnight – the Milwaukee Senior TT – was declared after just a solitary lap, but Harrison and Hickman took 1st and 2nd respectively, with Coward in 6th.

In what was an impressive two weeks for Zerofit athletes, Paul Jordan also became only the 31st person to ever lap the course at an average speed of over 130mph, joining the ‘130 Club’ of elite riders at the TT.
