Double Delight For Redding, Championship Glory For Mikhalchik and Burrell…and Charley Drops In!

Double Delight For Redding, Championship Glory For Mikhalchik and Burrell…and Charley Drops In!

Zerofit athletes powered their way to a stellar weekend at Brands Hatch, as Scott Redding led the charge with two victories in the Bennetts BSB Championship, watched on by fellow ZF ambassador Charley Boorman.

Ilya Mikhalchik also claimed a double in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, clinching the title in the process – the first Ukrainian ever to win the trophy.

And Barry Burrell ensured the Rokit Off BMW Motorrad F 900 R Cup was coming home with him after a third-place finish in the Feature Race. All athletes wore the IceSkin Baselayer (£59.95) or the Heatrub Move Baselayer (£40) during the changeable autumnal conditions.

Adventure riding legend Charley Boorman was at Brands for the final race weekend of the season, and in between the action he stopped by the Zerofit Glenn Irwin Merch Tent to chat with fans, sign autographs and pose for selfies (including with ZF Team Lead Glynis McLeod).

With the weather taking a turn for the worse, race goers were quick to get their hands on the Zerofit Winter Collection, including the Heatrub Ultimate (£59.95) and Move Baselayers (£40), as well as the Performance Move Hoodie (£55).

Seven Up For The Comeback Kid

Zerofit’s Scott Redding swapped WorldSBK for the BSB Championship earlier in the season, coming in for the injured Glenn Irwin.

He has since chalked up a remarkable seven victories, and all eyes will be on the Gloucestershire rider for 2026. Danny Kent also enjoyed a fine season finale with victory in the last race of the campaign, giving Zerofit a hat-trick of race wins.

Zerofit’s International Appeal

Ilya Mikhalchik became Zerofit’s first international champion following his two race victories at Brands.

The Ukrainian was in imperious form at Brands, sealing the Superstock Championship with a margin of 94.5 points from his nearest rival.

Barry On Biking

The experience of Barry Burrell proved vital as he held off the challenge of fellow Zerofit athletes Nikki Coates and Josh Corner to win the F 900 R Cup.

His fourth-place finish was good enough to secure the title, with Corner and Coates completing a 123 in the final standings.

Kennedy Goes Close

Zerofit athlete Jack Kennedy came up agonisingly short in his attempts to win the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship.

His third and second place finishes over the weekend were not enough to dislodge the top two, leaving him third overall.

Durham Victory

Asher Durham finished his season with victory in Race One of Pirelli National Sportbike Championship, with Alfie Davidson in second, a fine effort from both Zerofit men.

Durham and Davidson finished the season in 4th and 5th respectively with Harrison Dessoy – whose campaign was cut short due to injury – in 6th.
