ABR Festival Of Need As IceSkin Cools The Masses

Under the fierce glare of the scorching summer sun, thousands of bikers from all over the world descended on Ragley Hall in Warwickshire for the annual ABR Festival…and by our reckoning, the vast majority headed to the Zerofit Pop-Up Store for the cooling powers of the IceSkin Baselayer.

Now in its second full year, the IceSkin has quickly become one of our best-selling products, offering motorcyclists the solution to beat the heat in the warmest months of the year.

Throw into the mix the irresistible force of Zerofit Ambassador Charley Boorman, and this was an unforgettable four days in the West Midlands. Here’s what went down!

IceSkin For The Win

Did we mention that it was hot? It was steaming! Fans of the brand came by the Zerofit Stand to cool down with the IceSkin, and so did newbies who had heard the rumours about a baselayer that could now transform summer riding.

Intrigued, they experienced the cold-to-touch sensation of the Cool Stamp Tech for the first time – and even in the blazing temperatures that hit 35-degrees in the middle of the day, the IceSkin kept its cool…literally.

The people were convinced, and sales records were shattered. Bikers pottering around, supping pints and cocktails, wearing nothing but an IceSkin on top, was one of the truly great sights of the long weekend for Team Zerofit.

Fans Chillin’ With Charley

On Friday and Saturday, we arranged for Charley to do four signing sessions, and the queues stretched…and stretched…AND STRETCHED!

Tales were told, yarns were spun and stories of yesteryear came flooding out, with Charley enjoying every single one.

And with the release of ‘Bigger, Better, Faster’ – the untold story of the North West 200 – coming in the near future, the sessions gave people the opportunity to ask him about his love of racing, as well as finding out more about his epic adventures. Check out the BTS YouTube video here!

Road Racing Royalty

There was only one Storm we wanted to see over the weekend, and he duly arrived when Lord Storm Stacey himself landed, fresh off the back of a debut double at this year’s North West 200.

And there was more road racing royalty when fellow Zerofit rider Dean Harrison (pictured with Charley) stopped by for a chat, too. Both athletes posed for signings and selfies with fans, who were delighted to see the duo away from the race track environment.

Croissants and Content Creators

The great and the good of the motorcycling industry’s most creative content creators joined the Zerofit team and Charley on Saturday morning for a special breakfast.

Fans got the opportunity to meet the likes of Rich and Ewa from On The Road Adventure, Tony Walters of Man Cave Moto, Jade Rides, the Duke of Blonde, Georgie Roams (pictured with Charley) and Danny and Shelley of The Intrusive Riders.

We are forever grateful to the guys and girls who have believed in our brand and products from the start – these guys have seriously good things planned, so get following on Insta, YouTube and TikTok!

Howdy Partners!

It was a brilliant weekend for catching up with some of our favourite partners, like-minded individuals and brands who we love working with.

If you’re on the lookout for an epic adventure in the Himalayas, look no further than Royal Bikers (pictured) who offer stunning tours through this magical part of the world.

And it was wonderful to see our friends from Spada, BikeTrac, Shoei and many, many more!

Storm and Dean are back in action this weekend in the BSB Championship at Snetterton – catch all the action on TNT Sport.
