Zerofit Heatrub Move Baselayer – WOMEN'S RUNNING BEST IN TEST AWARD

Zerofit Heatrub Move Baselayer – WOMEN'S RUNNING BEST IN TEST AWARD

As we enter Awards Season with the achievements of the big and small screen being celebrated in earnest, Zerofit has entered the fray in the running track and trail awards world as leading publication Women’s Running has named the Zerofit Heatrub Move baselayer as the ‘BEST ON TEST’ in their ‘Layering Up Essentials Test’ for 2021.

‘The inside layer of this top is made with a very soft fabric, so it feels really warm and cosy against your skin. In fact, it boasts a warmth retention rating that means it’s twice as warm as a standard baselayer, so this is your ultimate winter running top.’ – Tina Chantrey, Fitness Editor

Zerofit was founded in Japan, one of the world’s running hotbeds, with ‘Ekiden’ – long distance relay races – taking place in the vast majority of towns and cities. The annual ‘Hakone Ekiden’, a two-day, 10-leg race from Tokyo to Hakone and back again, forms the backdrop to the January national holiday and is watched by millions of Japanese television viewers.

‘Running is a huge part of our sporting culture here in Japan, and it is simply fantastic for us to see the recognition in a publication such as Women’s Running for the Heatrub Move baselayer,’ said Mr Koji Higashi, founder of Zerofit.

The Heatrub Move baselayer (£40) features a 45% polypropylene construction on the inside of the baselayer as well as a hollow polyester shell that work in tandem to regulate body temperature, so as runners step up the pace, or work harder over longer distances or gradients, they don’t overheat in the conditions.

The construction also removes sweat from the skin and the hollow polyester design and ‘LABO’ fabric ensures it evaporates off the surface of the garment quickly, so the unpleasant experience of cold sweat on the body never materialises.

The award in Women’s Running comes less than a month after the same baselayer was named in Country Walking magazine’s ‘Gear of the Year 2021’ list, further highlighting the versatility of the Heatrub Move baselayer.

The December issue of Women’s Running is now on sale, and you can read the full review on page 60. The Move is now available in white, as well as black and titanium.
