Ticket To Ryde – Zerofit Sign Superstar BSB Athlete For 2024/25
Bennetts British Superbikes contender Kyle Ryde has become the latest athlete to sign up with Zerofit following extensive testing of the brand’s baselayers.

The 27-year-old - who races for the OMG GRILLA Yamaha team in BSB - currently sits in second place in this year’s Championship standings, just 19 points of adrift of the leader with nine more races across three rounds of the season remaining.

Kyle will alternate between the Ice WeaveCold Skin and Heatrub Move Baselayer for training, practice and races dependent on conditions. He joins fellow ambassadors Glenn Irwin, Lee Jackson, Andrew Irwin, Scott Swann, Nikki Coates, Simon Reid, Richard Cooper, Sam Laffins and Peter Willis from the BSB as Zerofit ambassadors.
Athletes in any sport are not typically keen to make product or equipment changes in the middle of a season, but the Nottinghamshire man was convinced that he needed to make the move immediately rather than wait until the end of the season.

‘I am thrilled to have joined the Zerofit team after a thorough period of testing ahead of the BSB event at Cadwell Park – to win twice and finish second in the other race there that weekend further demonstrated that when it comes to baselayers, Zerofit is leading the way,’ said Kyle.
‘As riders, we are always looking for marginal gains and improvements, and Zerofit products deliver that performance unlike any other baselayer I’ve worn previously. You only have to see how many of the other guys are relying on these products as further proof that they are best on the market.

‘While I’m looking for products predominantly to keep me cool, dry and temperature regulated in the heat of the battle on the track, I was also incredibly impressed with the brand’s Ultimate Baselayer, which will keep me warmer than ever before during the cold winter months. For everyday motorcyclists, it’s so comfortable that you can wear it even on the longest of journeys. That’s not something you can say about other baselayers,’ added Kyle.
His acquisition by Zerofit is yet another display of commitment to riders in BSB, as the brand’s MD Michael Morton explained.

‘Kyle is a world class rider, as demonstrated by his performances this year and indeed throughout his career, and we are delighted to have him on board,’ said Mr Morton.

‘The profile of the brand has been significantly boosted by Glenn and the other riders at BSB race weekends, being interviewed while wearing the baselayers and promoting the products on social media. As ever, once motorcyclists wear Zerofit for the first time, they can feel the difference in performance to anything they’ve worn previously. And Kyle was no different.
‘We look forward to seeing him and the rest of the guys race at Oulton Park, in what will be a hugely exciting weekend of action,’ he concluded.

Race fans will be able to experience Zerofit products for themselves at the Cheshire track – head over to the ZF Glenn Irwin Merchandise Stand in the retail area from Friday-thru-Sunday.
