It offers twice as much warmth as a regular baselayer, making it ideal for early morning starts when it’s still cold, but then separate innovations get to work so as you build up a sweat and the temperature rises, moisture is wicked away to leave you dry and comfortable.

The Move (£40) has been independently assessed for Heat Retention Levels at the Boken Quality Evaluation Institute in Osaka, Japan’s leading comprehensive testing organisation.
 
The product returned a CLO Rating of 0.28, double the score of a standard baselayer which would rank between 0.1-0.14.

This additional warmth means fewer layers are needed over the baselayer, giving hikers, motorcyclists, runners, anglers, sailors, skiers, golfers and gardeners greater flexibility and range of movements.

The Move features a 45% polypropylene construction on the inside of the baselayer as well as a hollow polyester shell that work in tandem to regulate body temperature, so you don’t overheat in the conditions.

This innovative design of the Move Baselayer also rids sweat from the skin and the hollow polyester design combined with the ‘LABO’ fabric ensures it evaporates off the surface of the garment quickly, so the unpleasant experience of cold sweat on the body never materialises.
