Des Taylor Hooked On Zerofit!

Des Taylor Hooked On Zerofit!

Angling royalty Des Taylor will continue to rely on the warmth, comfort and performance of Zerofit baselayers and accessories after agreeing a partnership extension with the Japanese apparel brand.

Des has been writing for The Angling Times - the leading fishing magazine in the UK - for nearly 40 years and has been using the Heatrub Ultimate BaselayerLeggings and Socks for all his fishing adventures since 2022, as well as the versatile Heatrub Move Baselayer.

‘Zerofit baselayers are essential for anglers throughout the year, allowing you to enjoy the sport in even the coldest of conditions. I’ve been using Zerofit for years, and there really is nothing better on the market,’ said Des.

‘The Ultimate is so thick and warm, but it’s incredibly comfortable - unlike the vast majority of baselayers I’ve worn over the years - so you can have it on all day without it irritating the skin, or being too tight.

‘The Move Baselayer could be worn pretty much every day of the year in the UK and Ireland, but it’s perfect for the autumn and spring days in particular. As well as keeping you warm, it also wicks sweat away so as the day goes on, you won’t overheat on the bank,’ he added.

The Des Taylor Angling Facebook page has nearly 60,000 members and every Friday night fans kick off their weekend in the best possible style with his regular Friday Night Live Tackle Den Show and you can join the group here.

Members of the group have the weekly opportunity to win a Heatrub Ultimate Baselayer worth £59.95 in the ‘Great Outdoor Photo’ competition, with an emphasis on where you fish or who you fish with – simply upload your favourite photo and Des will select a winner!

‘We are delighted to retain Des as a Zerofit ambassador and he has been an incredibly positive force for us as we’ve become established in the fishing industry,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit MD.

‘Des was one of the very first elite anglers who we contacted regarding our award-winning baselayers, and we know his fans rely on his expert advice on everything from rods and reels to bait and baselayers,’ he added.
