BIKERS! Beat The Heat With The New Zerofit Cold Skin Leggings - NOW AVAILABLE!

Following the launch of the Cold Skin Baselayer in 2023, we are delighted to unveil the new Zerofit Cold Skin Leggings, giving motorcyclists the opportunity to experience Top-to-Toe Cool Contact Performance on the bike this summer in temperatures of up to 40° Celsius.

Designed using the same fabric and technologies found in the Cold Skin Baselayer, the new Cold Skin Leggings (£55) are three times colder than a standard competitor product, aiding comfort and enjoyment whether you’re commuting, racing or adventuring during the hottest months of the year.

The fabric used to manufacture the Cold Skin Leggings was subject to Q-max testing at the Kaken Test Centre in Japan – this examination offers up an analysis of how cool the surface of the material is. The higher the Q-max value, the cooler the fabric.

Currently, if the Q-max value of a product is 0.1 W/cm2 or more, it is recognized as having ‘cool contact performance’. The Cold Skin Leggings material recorded a value of 0.298W/cm2 – whereas a standard competitor product would typically score below 0.1 W/cm2, a measurement method defined by Japanese Industrial Standards.

Integral to this breakthrough development in the baselayer market is ‘Cold-to-Touch’ (CTT) Technology from Zerofit, which utilises innovative fibres that are engineered to absorb heat and spread it over the surface of the legs.

This quickly delivers an efficient cooling feeling which can help boost concentration in the hottest of conditions. The thin and lightweight fabric disperses sweat rapidly creating a quick dry feeling without stress and irritation on the skin.
Like the Cold Skin Baselayer (£55), the Leggings also uses Polygiene StayFresh™ silver ion antibacterial treatment which suppresses 99% of odour-causing bacteria and additionally helps to eliminate sweat odour.

‘With the summer just around the corner, the launch of the new Cold Skin Leggings is hugely exciting for Zerofit and further highlights our commitment to developing and designing specific products for our key markets such as motorcycling,’ said Michael Morton, Zerofit Managing Director.

‘The Cold Skin Baselayer has been very well-received by bikers since we brought to market last year, and there was significant interest around the product and what it delivers when we exhibited at Motorcycle Live and the MCN London Motorcycle Show. The introduction of the Cold Skin Leggings allows them to have Cool Contact Performance on both the upper and lower torso and we are confident the Leggings will be as big a hit as the Baselayer was,’ he added.

The Cold Skin Leggings are available in sizes M-XL, all in Black.
